network protocols?
We are living in the digital generation. So people are adapting to it. Nowadays the internet is the most wanted component of the world. We can say the internet is a public network in the world. What is a network? That is the next question. We can say the network is two or more devices interconnected section. So cyber world million of networks process via the internet or private networks. Those networks are processed using some rules. we can simply say that rules are network protocols but actually it has the more sensible meaning we discuss it now.
There are many protocols such as IP(Internet Protocol), TCP(Transmission Control Protocol), HTTP(HyperText Transfer Protocol), POP(Post Office Protocol), etc. Actually, you can see that all protocols provide some special task in the network. Sometimes it involves the network layers, Sometimes it related to the Emails. Reality shows the path to how to want to process that task. We can say it to rules. Post Office Protocole is an email protocol. That protocol has some stuff to do to complete its task. Its main task is to send and receive emails and also storing. there is another email protocol IMTP(Internet Message Access Protocol). It also has those tasks like receive and storing emails but at that time that protocol behavior is different that difference is showing you the below picture(Figure 1).
So I supposed you get an idea about that kind of protocol. There are other types of protocol like IP(Internet Protocole). These protocol's behavior we can’t visible. Most probably that kind of protocol working in network layers. But that protocol is the main concept on the internet. You can see many protocols working there (figure 2).
Those similar kinds of protocols used for the appropriate tasks that we used. Think developer create online games like pubg. So main object is data packets transfer fastly via the internet So that time developer doesn’t use TCP protocol to transfer the data packets. So they use UDP protocol. That protocol fast but non-guaranteed for the transfer of data. But when the developer hosts an E-commerce website, the Developer using TCP protocols because that data transfer is a must guaranteed.
Those protocols are not much come to the stage but It is a very important concept to concern because the whole network process processing on protocols.
